Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
On this page
This Privacy Policy explains what information Sheetbuster (“Sheetbuster,” “we,” “us”) collects through the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Sheetbuster web application and does not apply to third-party sites you may reach through a link.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number and password, stored as a hash, never in plain text.
- Organization and truck information: business name, truck details, and the rates you configure, such as mileage, fuel, generator, card fee and sales tax.
- Business records you enter: events, contacts, permits and insurance documents you upload, inventory counts, recipes, purchases and receipt photos, point-of-sale sales data (manual entry, CSV import, or from a connected Square account), staff hours and pay rates.
- Usage and device information: pages viewed, actions taken in the product, browser type, device type and IP address, collected automatically to keep the Service working and to improve it.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to operate the features you use, such as building a per-event profit and loss summary or a weekly schedule; to authenticate your account and enforce role-based access within your organization; to provide customer support when you contact us; to monitor the Service for errors and abuse; and to communicate with you about your account, including service notices and, if you opt in, product updates.
3. Where your data is stored
Sheetbuster is built on Google Firebase. Your data is stored in Firebase Authentication, Firestore and Cloud Storage, and processed by Firebase Cloud Functions, in Google's US data center regions. Firebase secures data in transit and at rest; access inside Sheetbuster is limited to the systems, and, where necessary for support, the personnel, who need it to operate the Service.
4. Data we do not sell
We do not sell your personal information or your business records to anyone. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Advertising
The Service shows no advertising today and collects nothing for advertising purposes. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will update this policy before any advertising appears, notify account owners in advance as the Terms describe, and we will not sell or share your personal information or your business records with advertisers.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only where necessary to run the Service: with Google Firebase, as our infrastructure provider; with Square, if and when you connect a Square account, to pull the sales data you authorize; with email and SMS providers, to deliver notices, schedules and account messages; and where required to comply with a valid legal request, protect the rights and safety of Sheetbuster or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data under the new ownership.
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your organization's business records and personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes, or where data has already been anonymized and aggregated so it no longer identifies you or your organization.
8. Your rights
You can access, export or correct your business records directly inside the product. You can request a full export or deletion of your account and organization's data by writing to hello@truetake.app; we will confirm and complete a deletion request within 30 days. If your organization has multiple members, an owner or manager can manage access and removal for staff accounts from Settings.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, role-based access control and Firebase's authentication and security rules, to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business operators and their staff and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to the data model
As the product evolves, the underlying data model and infrastructure may change. We make reasonable efforts to preserve your data across updates, and you can export your records at any time, but we recommend keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose, such as permit documents.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date and, for a material change, will make reasonable efforts to notify account owners by email.
13. Contact
Questions about this policy or a request about your data can be sent tohello@truetake.app.
