Is it really free?
Yes. Every feature, every truck, every teammate you invite. There is no plan to pick and no timer running.
Do you take a card?
No. Sign-up asks for a name, an email and a password. That is all it asks.
What is the catch?
None. We want real operators running real events and telling us what is wrong or missing. That feedback is what we get out of it, and every night you close makes the product sharper for you.
Will it stay free?
Free is the price. If the Terms ever change, account owners hear it first, inside the product and by email, with notice before anything takes effect, and everything you have entered can be exported at any time. Section 4 of the Terms says the same thing.
What is still stubbed?
A real product with a few honest stubs. The weekly schedule reaches your crew in the app, on the day and hour you pick; the exact wording is on the delivery log, and nothing is texted or emailed. Receipt photos are stored, not read automatically. Square is optional: connect it if your truck sells on Square and the night comes in by itself. Cash-only trucks type the close-out or upload a CSV. Every screen says so where it applies.
Who is already using it?
Hot Box Pretzels ran the first trucks on it. They are the only name we cite because they are the only ones who have run it.
What happens to my records if I leave?
They are yours. Export from the product, or write to hello@truetake.app and the organization is deleted within thirty days, as the Privacy Policy says in section 6.
